Content moderation on the video hosting platform enabled a 99% reduction in the influx of prohibited content
- Industry and use case:
- Education and Entertainment
- Data:
- Videos
- Project duration:
- Ongoing support
Our Challenge:
The video hosting platform approached us with tasks related to moderating uploaded content based on internal rules and 48 video criteria. Additionally, the client sought to develop a system to enhance automatic moderation
Key to the client were the SLA indicators (figures varied depending on video duration) and ensuring the highest moderation quality to prevent prohibited content from being publicly available on the platform. On average, we process around 1,500 hours of content daily
Our Solution:
For the project, we assembled a team of 200 individuals and 10 managers. Collaborating with the client, we formulated a toolset enabling swift content review upon moderation. Alongside video assessment, the team curated prohibited content for further training and automation of the moderation system
Outcomes:
- We process around 45,000 hours of video content per month, meeting SLA standards
- The influx of prohibited content decreased by 99%
- We established the toolset within 21 days and have provided ongoing support for over 5 months
Our Cases
-
Within a month, more than 10% of the entire database with over 2,000 photographs was collected
-
Through data collection, the client improved their biometric system for facial and voice recognition by 21%.
